Worship Services

Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. / Sunday mornings at 8:00 and 10:45 a.m. / Holy Communion is celebrated at all Saturday services, and on alternate Sunday services.

Saturday services are led by The Rev. Nelson Quinones. Sunday morning services are led by The Rev. Denton Kees, interim pastor. Our Visitation Pastor is The Rev. Clark Kuntz.

Sunday, February 7, Pastor Kees will be officially welcomed as St. John's interim pastor at both Sunday services.

Sunday, February 14, Transfiguration Sunday. Also in honor of St. Valentine's Day, there will be a renewal of marriage vows at all services for couples who would like a special blessing.

Wednesday, February 17, Ash Wednesday, services at 12:10 and 7:30 p.m. with imposition of ashes and individual absolution.

Sunday, February 21, First Sunday in Lent, service of Choral Evening Prayer at 5:30 p.m.

 

 

Lenten Meditations

Wednesdays during Lent (Feb 24, Mar 3, 10, 17, 24, 31) we will have "Soup and Catechism" at 6:30 p.m. Following a soup supper, Pastor Kees will lead discussions on topics including the Ten Commandments, Apostles' Creed, Lord's Prayer, Holy Baptism, and The Sacraments of the Altar. These supper-studies will be held in The Gathering Place, followed by a brief prayer service in the chapel. All are welcome!

 

Special Organ Concert

Sunday March 7, 4 p.m. Hector Olivera will perform in his unique style using St. John's pipe organ and his specially designed Roland "Atelier" Orchestral Organ. Admission $20 ($10 for students) in advance or at the door.
